Auschwitz-Birkenau
This option has been offered on the legacy KRK Prague route. It can make sense for travellers who have not visited separately, but admission must be planned and the visit turns the transfer into a much longer day.
Prague ↔ Krakow · Czechia ↔ Poland
Keep the established Prague–Krakow route fully private and door to door — or turn a five-to-six-hour drive into a useful travel day with one carefully chosen sightseeing stop.
Route overview
The journey
A flight can be faster when the schedule is ideal, and a bus or train will normally cost less. A private vehicle is for travellers who put a different value on the day: leave from the hotel when you choose, keep your luggage with you, avoid station or airport transfers and arrive at the exact Prague address.
The established KRK page has offered Krakow–Prague transfers for years and already highlighted sightseeing during the journey. The rebuilt page keeps that idea but makes it more useful: choose one worthwhile stop, allow enough time for it, and still finish the day at your next hotel rather than rushing through several attractions.
Current route planners put the road distance at about 530 km. A direct run is normally around five and a half to six hours before longer breaks, but border-area traffic, roadworks and city access can change the total.
Why this service works
This option has been offered on the legacy KRK Prague route. It can make sense for travellers who have not visited separately, but admission must be planned and the visit turns the transfer into a much longer day.
A compact historic town in Moravia that can provide a lighter sightseeing break than a major museum visit. It is one of the current stop ideas surfaced by long-distance transfer planners.
A larger Moravian stop for travellers who would rather walk through a historic centre and have lunch before continuing to Prague.
You do not need to add sightseeing. A proper meal and comfort break can be built into the direct journey without turning it into a tour.
Flexible by design
For Prague we recommend deciding what the day is supposed to be. If the priority is arriving early, travel direct. If the road journey is replacing a separate sightseeing day, choose one main stop and leave Krakow early enough to enjoy it.
Auschwitz-Birkenau requires the most planning because admission availability and visit duration cannot simply be improvised on the road. Other stops are more flexible, but we still confirm a realistic schedule and price before booking.

“His car was in excellent condition and roomy enough to fit the six of us and luggage. He is extremely knowledgeable and articulate.”
